At a time when fashion was questionable and cheesy pop music ruled the charts, Land Rover® were producing one of the coolest vehicles ever to leave the Solihull production line - the 50th anniversary V8. With just 500 UK models produced and all in Atlantis blue metallic, it was the only factory built Defender to boast an automatic gearbox. Alongside the legendary 4.0l Rover V8, the '50th' also had air conditioning, external and internal roll hoops, seating for 6 and duo-tone Freestyle alloy wheels. All models had a numbered plaque to show their authenticity and rarity.
Benefitting from incredibly low mileage and being in such original condition, this Defender is the perfect addition to any collection or to be used and enjoyed daily. The purr from the V8 and the ease of the auto box make this the perfect choice for a sunday afternoon drive out to enjoy a spot of lunch and slip back to a simpler time as you soak in the countryside around you from this iconic vehicle.

This Land Rover 110 high capacity pick up is one of the most useful vehicles for work or play.
Presented in the iconic Aintree green metallic with a classic white roof it has been noticably upgraded with Twisted components to help it stand out from the crowd. The 18” Twisted Sport alloy wheels finished in Anthracite grey, not only look fantastic but with their ET0 offset also improve the turning circle dramatically. All five are shod in B F Goodrich all terrain tyres and offer great on and off road manners as well as having a huge life span. Further upgrades to the outside include colour coded front grilles and vents, gloss black front bumper and crystal headlights.
Inside also sees some tasteful additions by way of a Twisted classic steering wheel trimmed in black leather with black spokes. This increases control of the vehicle through better feedback and also increases leg and elbow room. Alongside this it has Twisted leather dash tops and grab handle and a leather cubby box with a raised lid conversion for added comfort. It also has an aftermarket stereo and speakers installed so you can enjoy your favourite tunes whatever your adventure.
With such low mileage and lovely upgrades, this 110 high-cap would make the perfect vehicle to use for work during the week and then for recreation at the weekend. With its massive loadspace and load carrying ability, the possibilities are endless. Whether you want to carry your trials bike, surf boards or have us install a rack and a roof tent, it will handle it all with ease. It also has the rare option of air conditioning which was usually reserved for XS models but makes it much nicer to use on warmer days. Fitted with the original 2.2 diesel and 6 speed manual gearbox, you can’t help but smile once you get behind the wheel.

The Old Cinema is proud to present this Barry Adamson Custom Drixton Honda CB450 Bike from 1971.
Ding dong! This royal blue bike is the first motorcycle to be stocked by Twisted Automotives, based at The Old Cinema in Thirsk. The Honda CB450 is a standard motorcycle made by Honda between 1965 to 1974 with a 444 cc (27.1 cu in) 180° straight-twin, DOHC engine. Producing 45 bhp it was Honda's first "big" motorcycle. This bike is super special though as it has been immaculately restored by Barry Adamson.
'There is so much more I've put into this bike's creation. From a non running standard Honda CB450 DOHC 1971 into the Drixton Racing Machine.'
Built, not bought, this bike has had some serious hours of restoration and unfortunately due to illness and the pandemic, is yet to be ridden. Who wants to ride away from The Old Cinema in style. Where would you go on it?
Complete with full service history and a pack featuring letters, invoices and Classic Machine registration certificate.
